Logos are created from three basic elements.

• Name - Verbiage of Logo

• Symbol - Shape or Visual

• Color - Emphasizes Symbol

There are seven different types of logos.

• Typographic - Logos that are only words.

• Geometric Typography - Brand is combined with geometrical shape.

• Initial Letter - Logo consists of initials.

• Pictorial - Similar to Typographic, but logo has stronger shape.

• Associative - Symbol that is directly associated with business core.

• Alusive - Logo that is indirectly associated with business core.

• Abstract - Logo that has abstract symbol.
